If you love the flavor of desiccated coconut, then this sweet delight is for you. Simply mix condensed milk with desiccated coconut till a smooth dough is formed. Make small balls out of it and garnish with some chopped almonds and silver paper. Chill for a while and serve!
This is a very interesting recipe that can be made with just three ingredients- seedless dates, marie biscuits and some milk. Take some Marie biscuits and grind them into a coarse powder. Take seedless dates and make a paste again in the grinder. Knead the two into a smooth dough with your hands by adding some milk and ghee. Make rolls of equal size. Take some powdered sugar in a bowl and gently coat the rolls with it. Refrigerate for a while and its ready to savor.
FRUIT AND NUT DELIGHT
If you have the hots for dessert like sweets, this recipe is pure love! Sauté some nuts of your choice in a pan. Set aside. In bowl, add some fine chopped fresh fruits and top it up with cream. Garnish generously with sautéed nuts. Serve chilled!
For all those who don't mind an indulgent, dripping sweet delight, the shahi tukda is just heaven. Cut your choice of bread into triangles and deep fry. Dip them in sugar syrup (chashnee) and lay on a plate. Pour condensed milk over the sweetened fried bread and garnish with chopped pistachio and almonds. Chill for a while and serve!
ICE CREAM IMPRESSION
Crush some bakery cookies in a cocktail glass, add a layer of jam, then a scoop of ice cream (tutti frutti or kesar pista), again add a layer of cookies and garnish with 1 tablespoon jam and a small scoop of ice cream.
